The Dakota Alert WRH3000 Driveway Alarm uses tried and true Air Hose technology (just like you would see at the gas station) combined with a high powered, long range, wireless transmitter. Simply lay the rubber hose across your driveway, lane way or entrance and when a vehicle drives over the hose an alarm signal is sent back to the WR3000 receiver. The system has a wireless range of up to 600 feet!
The Wireless Rubber Air Hose Drive Monitor 3000 uses a rubber air hose to detect cars entering your driveway. This is similar to the type that you would see at service stations and gas stations, except ours is wireless with an Incredible range of 600'. The receiver has a built in chime, timed relay output and many other advanced features!
The WRH3000 is a very reliable and easy to install driveway alarm. The transmitter operates on one 9 volt battery and has 25' of 3/ 8" diameter exterior rubber air hose that will lay across the driveway. When a vehicle drives over the hose a signal is sent to the WR3000 receiver up to 600' away*. The transmitter box is weatherproof and may be mounted on a tree, post or wall. Up to 4 zones can be monitored with additional transmitters. The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a different tone at the receiver. The WR3000 is the receiver for the WRH3000 system. The WR3000 plugs into a standard wall outlet and can be placed on a table or mounted on the wall. When the receiver gets a signal from one of the transmitters, one of 4 different tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, Whistle) will sound for a few seconds. There is also a volume control so you can set the sound to the desired level. The receiver is also equipped with 4 form "C" relays (one for each zone) and one 12 VDC output terminal that will activate for several seconds when a signal is received. The receiver can be user programmed so the 12VDC terminal and one relay will activate for 1 to 10 minutes if this is required. The musical tones will not be affected by this timer!
