The DCPT-2500 - Dakota Alert Duty Cycle Probe Alert Transmitter is the perfect device for checking if a vehicle is entering your driveway or passing near the spot where the Dakota Alert Probe is placed. 
If activated, the alarm will send a wireless signal 2, 500 feet back to the NEW Dakota Alert Duty Cycle Receiver (DCR-2500).
Setting this unit apart from other driveway alarms, is that the wireless signal sent to the receiver can reach an impressive 2, 500 feet! Due to the way the DCPT-2500 is built, it will never send any false alarms due to people or alrge animals moving past it as it is designed to detect metal.

The Probe itself can detect a vehicle if it approaches up to about 10 ft. away, and should be buried beside the driveway. If you have a large driveway, you may want to purchase two units in order to bury a probe on either side of the driveway.

The Dakota Alert DCPT-2500 uses only one 9V battery to power itself (not included with purchase).
