The Dakota Alert WMA-3000 is the perfect sensor for setting up a perimeter around not only your driveway but anywhere else security is needed and is capable of warning you of an intruder (a person, vehicle or even a large animal) is near your home.
The WMA-3000 is a weatherproof transmitter that runs off of a single 9V battery that can be placed anywhere from the side of a tree to the top of a post near your driveway. Through the use of its infrared sensor, the transmitter is capable of detecting people or moving vehicles at a distance of up to 80 ft. away! If something is detected, the transmitter sends a wireless signal up to 600 ft.* to the receiver inside your home and warns you with a distinct sound (ranging from classical, to Westminster chime, a ding-dong or even a catchy whistle).
Although the WMA-3000 works great as a driveway protector, that isn't its only purpose. If desired, the WMA-3000 can be moved to another location to monitor and warn you of possible intruders (eg. a shed or barn). The sky is the limit with the WMA-3000!
The Dakota WMA-3000 can be used in conjunction with many of the other Dakota Alert Transmitters (eg. the WPT3000 Probe, WRT3000 Rubber Hose, WUT3000 Universal Transmitter, WIR3000 Indoor PIR Transmitter) and with all of these devices no one will ever be able to sneak up on you again!
