The Dakota Alert WIR-3000 is an indoor motion detector that can monitor areas up to 100 degrees wide and 80 degrees high reducing the chances of something sneaking by to nearly zero!

The Dakota Alert WIR-3000 is an indoor motion detector that is compatible with all transmitters and receivers in the Dakota Alert 3000 series of products. With its range of up to 600 ft.*, monitoring indoor locations has never been easier!

This unit's passive infrared (PIR) detector is able to monitor an area up to 100 degrees wide or can be narrowed down to only 20 degrees if deemed necessary. This along with the swivel mount makes it simple to adjust the sensing range from right to left, up to 80 degrees, and up and down up to 50 degrees. There are also three different sensitivity settings, allowing detection of a person up to 12, 25 or 40 feet away.

The IR-3000 is powered by a single 9V battery which will last for about 12 months under normal conditions. If you're unsure whether the battery is getting low or not, check the built in battery alert and it will tell you.

This device is designed for mostly indoor applications although it can be placed outdoors under an eave or awning or other protected location if necessary. Operating range temperature -30 F to 120 F. Great for home security, retail and business!
